Steamboat Springs here we come!

Left Vail at 7am and arrived in Steamboat at 9.  The 85 mile drive was snowpacked but little traffic. Light snow and overcast about 32 degrees.  The mountain reported 3" of new snow.  Checked in at the Steamboat Grand located across the street from the Mountain.  On the slopes by 10.  A tough ski day with snow sleet and warm 33 degree temps.  Also quite crowded with many president's day guests.  We got some decent fresh snow runs but freezing ice on the goggles made it tough to see.  Took 2 videos of Kelley in pow but hotel wifi is too weak to upload.

Decided to make it a short day and meet up with our local friend Ursula who volunteers for Stars the local adaptive ski group.  Toured their mountain facility. They are doing very good work. Had lunch with Ursula and did video interview,   Ursula's real job is as a wine auctioneer and former Estate Manager for Screaming Eagle, so she knows her wine and is a great person.  Dinner tonight at Mahogany Ridge was very good.  It was pretty plain on the ambiance side but the food was good.  Tuesday is a travel day to Jackson Hole,
